As a program of the American Cancer Society, Camp
Rainbow Gold provides year-round programs such as
medically supervised camps, college scholarships
and other emotionally empowering experiences to
Idaho's children diagnosed with cancer, their families
and support network. Camp Rainbow Gold is
sustained by community fundraising, private
donations and volunteer efforts. And it's fun!
 Camp Rainbow Gold was established nearly 25 years
ago when a compassionate team led by Dr. Dave
McClusky put the wheels in motion for one of the
first children's oncology camps in the country.
 There is strength in numbers. A variety of
organizations contribute to the mission of Camp
Rainbow Gold to provide emotionally empowering
experiences to Idaho's children diagnosed with cancer
and their families.

diagnosed with cancer and their families.

Camp Rainbow Gold is an oncology camp, a sibling
camp and a family camp. It's a hockey night, a ski
day and a college scholarship program. Camp
Rainbow Gold is a celebration of life.
